2007 Shelby GT500 Overview

The 2007 Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang was created by two automotive legends, Carroll Shelby and Ford Motor Company's in-house performance division SVT. Both joined forces to create a modern successor to the Shelby GT500's of the 60's. At the heart of the GT500 is the supercharged 5.4-liter 32-valve V-8 DOHC producing 500 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. It comes in coupe and convertible with optional LeMans stripes and side stripes. Suspension for the GT500 features MacPherson coil-over struts, a solid rear axle, three-link suspension with coil springs and a Panhard rod. Check out the GT500 specifications page for a closer look at what this beast includes.
